Hindley Remembrance Sunday Parade

It was a beautiful sunny day at Hindley with an excellent attendance from the various organisations and members of the public. The participants gathered on the market square, and following a parade around the centre of Hindley, those present gathered around the front of the Cenotaph in the grounds of Hindley St Peter's Church in the town center.
A number of wreaths from different organisations were called out and laid on the Cenotaph. Then the Mark Masons of Hindley wreath was called out by the Officer in charge, and W. Bro Dave Webster stepped forward proudly in front of the large gathering  to lay the wreath in a prominent position on the Cenotaph.
